Frequently Asked Questions:

1. How do you charge for your professional henna services?

Our pricing is based on the design size, complexity, and placement. For individual appointments, we offer set prices for small, medium, and large designs. For parties, corporate events, or large bridal bookings, we typically charge an hourly rate or offer custom packages. A detailed pricing guide is available upon request.

2. How far in advance should I book my henna appointment?

We highly recommend booking your appointment as soon as possible, especially if you have a specific date in mind. For individual and small designs, book at least 3 days in advance. For bridal henna or large event services, please book 2–5 days out, as these dates fill quickly.

3. Do you require a deposit to secure my booking?

Yes, a non-refundable retainer or deposit (usually 25–50% of the estimated cost) is required to formally secure your date and time on our calendar. The remaining balance is due on the day of service.

4. What is your policy for cancellations or rescheduling?

We require a minimum of 48 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling requests. If the request is made within this window, the deposit is forfeited. If you notify us before the 48-hour mark, we can apply your deposit to a rescheduled appointment within 60 days.

5. Do you travel to my location, or do I need to come to your studio?

We offer flexible service options. You are welcome to visit our studio for your appointment. Alternatively, we happily travel to your location (home, wedding venue, event). A travel fee may apply if your location is outside our standard service area (e.g., beyond 10 miles).

Preparation and Application Process

6. How long does the henna application process take?

The application time varies significantly based on the design size and intricacy. A quick, small design may take only 10–15 minutes. A more detailed full hand or foot design can take 45–90 minutes. We will provide a precise time estimate when you book your design.

7. How should I prepare my skin before my henna appointment?

For the best and darkest results, ensure the area where the henna will be applied is clean, exfoliated, and free of any oils, lotions, or moisturizers. If you plan to shave the area, please do so at least 24 hours before your appointment to prevent the henna from irritating freshly shaved skin.

8. Can I show you custom designs or pictures of what I want?

Absolutely! We encourage clients to share reference photos, themes, or custom requests. This helps us understand your desired style and complexity, allowing us to accurately plan and execute the perfect design for you.

9. What specific ingredients are used in your natural henna paste?

Our paste is 100% natural, safe, and made fresh in-house. It contains only four ingredients: high-quality henna powder (Lawsonia inermis), a mild acidic liquid (usually lemon juice), sugar (to help it adhere), and a safe, therapeutic-grade essential oil (like lavender or cajeput) to facilitate the dye release.

Aftercare and Stain Results

10. How long must I leave the henna paste on for the best stain?

Ideally between 3 to 4 hours. For optimal color and longevity, the henna paste should remain in contact with your skin for as long as possible.

11. What color will the stain be when the paste is first removed?

When you remove the dried paste, the initial stain will be a bright pumpkin orange. This is perfectly normal! The true color develops over time through oxidation.

12. How long does it take for the final henna color to develop?

The stain will gradually deepen and mature to its final rich color (deep reddish-brown to mahogany) After you washed. You should wait 3 hours before evaluating the true result of your henna.

13. What is the most crucial aftercare tip?

The single most important step is to avoid exposing the fresh stain to water for the first 3 hours. You can take shower once after 3 hours or so.

14. How long have you been working as a professional henna artist?

Our business has proudly been serving clients for more than ten years. Having a full decade of experience ensures we are experts in everything from sourcing the highest quality, all-natural ingredients to ensuring a flawless, long-lasting stain. Your safety and satisfaction are guaranteed by our unparalleled professional history.

15. How long will the finished henna stain last on my skin?

With proper aftercare, moisturizing, and avoiding excessive scrubbing, a well-developed henna stain typically lasts anywhere from 1 to 2 weeks. Stains on the hands and feet usually last the longest.

🌿 The Ultimate Henna Aftercare Guide: A Decade of Secrets for a Dark, Long-Lasting Stain

As experienced local henna artists, we've perfected the aftercare routine to ensure you get the deepest, richest color possible. Forget the old rulesthis is the new, proven way to care for your natural henna tattoo.

Step 1: The Critical Drying Phase (0-3 Hours)

The first three hours are the most crucial for setting your stain.

  • 🚫 Do Not Touch: Absolutely do not touch or bump the fresh henna paste. Since it is still wet, any contact will deform the design, leading to smudges and breaks.

  • ⏳ Allow for Full Curing: We recommend allowing the paste to remain on your skin for a minimum of 3 hours (and ideally longer, if you can!). This extended time allows the natural dye molecules (Lawsone) to fully penetrate and settle deep into the top layer of your skin, which is the secret to achieving a dramatically darker result.

  • ⚠️ The Wet Warning: For the entire duration that the paste is wet, treat it like wet paint. Avoid contact with clothing, stray hands, or anything that could leave a mark.

Step 2: The Gentle Removal (After 3+ Hours)

Once the drying time has passed, it’s time to reveal the initial stain!

  •  Gentle Rinsing: Instead of scratching the paste off, gently wash the area with plain water. Gently rub the area until all the dry, crumbly paste (the "caked ink") is removed and your skin feels smooth and soft again.

  •  Stop Worrying: Once you have washed off all the paste and dried the area, your henna tattoo is now fully set. You no longer need to worry about smudging or deforming the design!

  • πŸ’‘ Pat Dry: Pat the area completely dry with a clean cloth or rag.
